A fourth group of young leaders and innovators of the region will be recognized at the Greater Moncton’s Top 20 Under 40

The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Moncton (CCGM) and the Hub City Young Professionals Network will recognize a fourth cohort of the Greater Moncton’s Top 20 Under 40.

The event was created in 2019 to celebrate young leaders and innovators in all spheres of our communities.

For the CCGM, this renewed partnership with the Hub City Young Professionals Network is a unique way of connecting with young leaders of Greater Moncton. Across all sections, business, non-profit, education, arts, politics, health or public service, these people are the future leaders of our community.

“Our young professionals are a vital asset to our region and it’s important to acknowledge those who are making great strides in shaping our community’s future”, said John Wishart, CEO of the Chamber.

The Greater Moncton’s Top 20 Under 40 will highlight 20 individuals, under the age of 40, who are making a difference in the community. The emphasis is placed on leadership—whether it is in business, politics, the arts, non-profits, education, the environment, health care or public service. Focus is also placed on the nominee’s community involvement.

“Think of anyone who acts as a leader in our community and pushes to make our region a better place to live. It can be your friends, family, colleagues, clients,” said Patrick Richard, founder of the Hub City Young Professionals Network. “Nominate as many as you’d like, our community needs to recognize them,” added Richard.

The nomination process is now open online at www.ccgm.ca. Young leaders can nominate themselves or colleagues and friends can nominate a candidate that they think should be recognized because of their involvement in our communities.

Sponsorship opportunities are still available. This initiative is a great way for all employers to showcase themselves to young talent and potential employees. To learn about sponsorship opportunities, contact the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Moncton at events@ccgm.ca or call 506 857-2883.
